Supporting the Arts
The FSJ Dance Society was founded in 1992 by a group of dance moms that hoped to bring more opportunities to dancers here in the North.
Our Mission
The FSJ Dance Society is a non-profit organization that provides ongoing and continuous support to amateur dancers in the North Peace area.
“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.”
— Martha Graham
What we are doing
The FSJ Dance Society outfits Alchemy Dance Collective’s Competitive Team in all of their group costumes each season.
We support dance families in attending additional workshops and intensives, giving dancers more opportunity for growth.
Each year we donate cash scholarships to the Peace River North Festival of the Arts.
We founded Ladies Day Out in 1998. This local artisan Christmas market is one of our biggest fundraisers that showcases local small business, while collecting donations for the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society.
